If you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch with us as we would love to hear from you.

Our volunteers are an integral part of our organisation, and we would not exist without their dedication and support.
Our main volunteering opportunity is through one-to-one volunteering which is explained further on our services section.
Volunteers are required to be members of the PVG scheme due to supporting vulnerable adults. There is no cost incurred to the volunteer to apply for this.
Potential volunteers complete a volunteer application that provides us with your basic information, health conditions we should be aware of, or if you require additional support, interests, and character references.
Once the above application is completed and character references have been returned and your PVG is satisfactory you will be invited to a volunteer training day where staff will cover the do’s and don’t of being a volunteer befriender and how we are here to support you.
We ask that if you wish to volunteer with us is that you will volunteer with us for a minimum of six months. As you will be matched with an older person, we like to provide them with some consistency to increase their confidence in services that support them, and where possible we do not want to undo any of your good work.
